Jesus, Can You Save Me
by Jesse Petrowski and Zac Fitzsimmons
Lord, I just can't take it 'cause it's killin'
me today
I said, Lord, I just can't take it 'cause
it's killin' me today
Well I'm up at five and I pack my lunch and
I go
I punch the clock and I work all day and
then I go home
Seems like Old Man Time's beginnin' to mess
with me
Took my hair and took my teeth,
Now he wants my dream
Now this youthful moon is wainin', and I
don't do the things that I used to do
Now this youthful moon is wainin', and I
don't do the things that I used to do
I fighting for my life but I don't kick as
high
I know I'm growing old but I pray that I'm
growing wise
Seems like every time that I begin to see
take a step and then I trip and fall from
my own feet
Jesus, can you save me because I sure could
use the rest
I said, Jesus, can you save me because I
sure could use the rest
Could you pick up my hammer and swing it
for this factory
I know that it wouldn't take much and you'd
sure be helping me
Seems like everytime I'm fallen to my knees
You reach out your hand and patch me up
and you put me on my feet
